About the Presenter:
John Person is a 33-year veteran of futures and options trading, starting his career on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in 1979. John has broad industry experience as an independent trader, broker, analyst and branch manager for one of Chicago's largest discount / full service firms under the direct supervision of a former chairman of the Chicago Board of Trade. In his career, he has had the privilege of working with George Lane, the creator of the stochastic indicator. He is the former owner and president of First National Futures Group and continues his work as a registered Commodity Trading Advisor.
John's thorough understanding of the futures industry makes him qualified to offer his clients a balanced perspective of the trading industry. In addition, the personal contacts he has developed around the world and in the financial industry have helped him gain an edge on market information pertaining. John shares his wealth of knowledge in the fields of technical analysis, trading style and system development by writing and teaching. He is author of 3 internationally known books on technical training and is the co-author of the annual Commodities Trader's Almanac. John is also the creator of 4 trading courses and a DVD seminar series.
